SURROGATE ACADEMIC PARENTING PROGRAMME
This extension programme was started on a trial basis for the purpose of providing much needed fatherly mentoring and academic support to young
people from around our local communities especially those for the rather increasing number of single parent homes.Under this programme, young people from the ages of 11 -14 must report to the centre immediately after school, where they meet volunteer duty teachers, who go through all they did
at school during the day, help to explain unclear aspects and encourage them to complete all school home works The students are allowed to return back home after about 30-45 minutes.Due to this little but very significant efforts, we reported dramatic turn around in the school performances of all
students within each trial group . Our plan is to entrench the programm and expand its scope. For more information on how to join this program, please

- The Innovations Training Centre or ITC started over nine years ago, through the inspirations of groups of professionals who were rightly concerned about the critical state of learning key subjects of Mathematics,Science and Literacy in society but most importantly inner-city communities. We discovered the empirical interconnections between future career advancement of groups of young learners and their ability to pass the fundamental GCSE exams in these key subject areas. Our believe remains that every child we help to attain good grades accompanied by commensurate knowledge in these key subjects is a child taken away from the streets. Our analysis further confirmed that, a child that passes his or her GCSE exams is more likely to continue and make the best of other opportunities for career developments in the future rather than ending up in the spiralling cobweb of gangsterism. During the period of our operations, we have suceeded in helping over 200 young people and individuals. The yearly excellent performances of our students are clear testimony to our vision and dedication. We have since expanded our portfolio to cover a few other training courses for both adults and young people.
- WEEKEND TUITION or SATURDAY SCHOOL
Based on individual diagnostic assessments, learners are registered and placed in study groups that reflect their individual abilities and needs. Each lesson lasts for 2 hours and takes place on Saturdays. A maximum group size of 5 students is the mandatory standard. This covers Key Stages 2 to Key stage 5 (Primary year 6 to A/Levels). - ONE-2-ONE CLASSES Due to the very divergent spectrum of exam boards that students take, A/Level subjects are predominantly organised on a 1-2-1 basis. Other learners who may have been flagged by our initial needs assessments are also often allowed to pass through an initial 1-2-1 learning program to prepare them well to learn in the normal Saturday groups. Adult learners also have the option of taking advantage of similar 1-2-1 opportunities for their various courses if required.
- ON-LINE REAL-TIME LEARNING We have recently started an online learning option for all our registered Weekend or Saturday school students. We plan to extend the online learning option to all other courses once the current trial period is complete. Click here to register and select your subject of interest.
